Téada

Téada, a band with a truly worldwide reach are coming to Tradoodle Festival to perform alongside our very own TRADOODLE BIG BAND. This is the unmissable finale of Tradoodle Festival 2024!

About Téada

Téada has appeared as a frequent headliner at major music festivals throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Africa, Russia, the Middle East and Australia. Highlights include a 30,000-capacity stadium concert in Brittany, along with performances at Penang World Music Festival in Malaysia, Edmonton Folk Festival in Canada, Harare International Festival of the Arts in Zimbabwe, and Rainforest World Music Festival in Borneo.

The TRADOODLE BIG BAND brings together young musicians from Monaghan and Cavan aged 10-15 to create a vibrant youth ensemble dedicated to performing traditional tunes from the Monaghan/Cavan region.

As Téada and the TRADOODLE BIG BAND come together for the very first time, get ready to experience beautifully arranged music from Ceol Connected’s ‘When the Moon Spun Round’ coproduction with Fidget Feet Aerial Dance and from Dr. Seán McElwain’s ‘Our Dear Dark Mountain’, a beautiful collection of tunes from Co.
