Children and their teddies will be brought on an exciting musical journey to the land of make-believe. With brand new songs and rhymes as Gaeilge by Sadhbh Rosenstock from her new book and album Teach Teidí and her album Picnic Teidí. The event includes readings from Sadhbh’s brand new books Teidí agus an Foghlaí Mara and Teidí agus an Dineasár. Children are invited to bring their favourite teddy bear with them!

Crafty Corner: Magical Music Wands - Sunday 22nd October
As part of of our drop-in crafty corner, children will work with visual artist Sarah Ward to create their very own ‘magical musical wands’. Using found nature objects and colourful wool, feathers and other objects that will be supplied, children will then use the wands to bring along to the family concert for some conducting fun.

Join visual artists Anne Cradden, Leanne McLaughlin & Sarah Ward for a playful and joyful exploration of the creative arts for young children. In this fun workshop, children of all ages and their grownups will be making our own hand puppets using all sorts of interesting recycled materials. You can make any kind of character you want: a punk princess, an alien from another planet, a crazy cat….its up to you! Then we will also make a puppet theatre where we can bring our characters to life in a real puppet show for everyone to enjoy!Parents/guardians must stay and are welcome to join in!
