Who is Sensory SongTales for?

Sensory SongTales is a gentle, multi-sensory music experience designed especially for children with additional needs and their families.

Each session has a small capacity of 6 children plus their families to help create a calm, comfortable and supportive environment.

What to Expect

Sensory SongTales is a 45-minute live music workshop facilitated by two musicians experienced in inclusive and sensory-led practice.

Families can expect:

Live music and singing
Gentle sensory interaction
A calm and welcoming atmosphere
Flexible, child-led participation

Small group sizes

Children are welcome to engage in whatever way feels comfortable for them – listening, moving, vocalising, exploring sensory materials or simply relaxing in the space.

Participation

Sensory SongTales is designed as a shared experience for children and their parents, guardians and siblings.

Adults are encouraged to participate alongside their children through singing, movement, play and shared interaction. There is no pressure to participate in a particular way, and families are free to take breaks or step out of the space if needed.
