“Seoithín seothó, mo stór é mo leanabh
Mo sheod gan chealg, mo chuid den tsaol mór
Seoithín seothó, nach mór é an taitneamh
Mo stóirín ina leaba ina chodladh gan bhrón”

Eithne Ní Chatháin (Inni-K) celebrates our first brush with song in this magical and soothing performance of lullabies.

In this specially created performance for Tradoodle Festival, young imaginations will be enthralled by some of our best-loved bedtime songs such as Seoithín Seothó and Dún do Shúile, as well as lullabies from other cultures and traditions. A musical feast for all the senses, Suantraí also features magical shadow theatre and joyful sensory stimulation by Joanna Williams.

A Winter Wish

A Winter Wish

Following Ceol Connected’s sold out tour of The Quiet Tree at Tradoodle 2017, they return with their newest musical adventures in A Winter Wish.

Every winter in Whistleberry Forest, a little robin comes to visit and grants the creatures of the forest their very own wish – they can wish for whatever they want! From dripping icicles to gentle snowfall, the delight of skating on an icy river or flying high on a moonlit night, discover the mysteries of Whistleberry Forest in a mesmerising traditional music performance made for children. With traditional musicians Thomas Johnston and Stephen Markham, and visual artist Orla Kelly, A Winter Wish is a wonderfully interactive adventure that is sure to have everyone singing along.
